If you could do anything you want tomorrow, what would it be?
Submitted by Becca-Pink.
Go to Hawaii. Oh wait, I am doing that :)
What is your personal motto?
Work hard, play hard - and don't forget to dance.
What is a childhood memory that still haunts you?
It took me less than a second to remember this and I am sure that the experience has shaped every friendship I've had since. When I was in 5th grade one of my good friends and I got in a fight and she proceeded to spend the entire recess getting the entire 5th grade to hate me.
Recess was the longest 30 minutes of my life. No one would talk to me and as we lined up to go back inside the entire 5th grade laughed at me as I was standing in the back of the line crying.
To this day, I have an extremely difficult time coping with my friends being mad at me. I want everyone to like me and get extremely insecure when I think someone doesn't like me or if I get left out.
No matter how old I get, that insecurity stays with me. Gee Joy, have you thought of therapy?
What's your best quality?
My best quality is also my worst quality - Passion
Has anything unlucky happened to you today?
Don't you know it. Besides having to get up at 5am this morning to fly to Boston after being in NYC for a week with a sprained ankle, my day has gone like this:
1. I realized that its nearly impossible to drive a rental care when your right ankle is the size of a log.
2. I got into Boston three hours before my meeting and couldn't enjoy the sites by foot or by car due to my ankle.
3. Minutes before my meeting, I found out my 3pm flight was cancelled and I was put on a 6pm flight instead.
4. I could find the right tunnel or exit for the airport causing me to have to drive in circles around the airport for 30 minutes on my bad ankle.
5. Since I was added to the 6pm flight at the last minute I have a middle seat on a flight across the country.
I dare you to top this day. I thought it was just another dose of my bad karma but based on the series of unlucky events, I am thinking it might be the combination of both.
Please, please get me home...
Look at the first post you ever wrote on Vox. What important developments or changes have occurred in your life since then?

Wow. My first post is here: http://joydtaylor.vox.com/library/post/if-your-going-to-san-francisco.html
It was made back in March of 2006 when Matt and I decided to move to San Francisco and I accepted the job at Six Apart. It's interesting to read my perspective back then. I feel like I've grown a lot. The adventure continues...
What could we do to create a world with less violence?
So it is probably ridiculously naive but to me, there are some very basic things we should do better (myself included):
Listen to others
Be willing to compromise
Have a heart
Don't give up
What did you do for fun when you were a kid? How is it different from what you see kids doing now?
Submitted by jaklumen.
In addition, to riding bikes, playing games in the backyard and having sleepovers with my friends, I was definitely involved in activities when I was a kid - dance, basketball, soccer, etc. however kids have access to far great array of activities than we did.
I just spent the weekend with my nephews and here is what they are doing this summer:
Ty (age 9): Video Game Design class
Nick (age 7): Chess Club
Reece (age 4): LaCrosse
Now Ty and Nick are both also playing baseball this summer and will continue to play hockey in the fall but I was definitely impressed by the diverse activites they were being exposed to. They also awesome at Halo 3 and Guitar Hero :)
What do you daydream about? Is it something far-fetched, or something that might actually happen?
Submitted by lost_in_eternity2207.
My daydream is always to move to Mexico, live on the beach and make jewelry. Problem is I don't know how to "make" anything so I am looking for suggestions on a job that could replace my jewelry making business. Suggestions are welcome. That might make my daydream more likely!
