Do you believe that honesty is the best policy?
Like everything else, it depends. Honesty is good if who you are talking to can handle it. Sometimes a little white lie is in order :)
What's one thing you can't say no to?
So I can generally say no to almost anything once in a while but the things I generally say yes to even when I shouldn't are:
- My nephews (who could deny those adoreable faces)
- Get togethers (I generally over-commit myself cuz I always feel bad about missing anything)
- Meetings (ask me to attend a meeting, I'll always be there, regardless of my chaotic schedule)
- Projects (if no one raises their hand, guess who takes it?)
- Liquor (I'll never say no to happy hour, I mean never)
- Dessert (I'll always have at least a bite if you order it)
- Dancing (give me an opportunity to go dancing and I will always take it)
- Vacations (I don't always get around to scheduling them myself but invite me and I'll always go)
So it actually looks like drinks and dancing are the ones I actually never say no too, not so bad :)
What are your fitness goals? What is helping or preventing you from accomplishing them?
Presented by Intel, Sponsors of Tomorrow.
I typically have very regimented fitness goals but lately things have been a bit too hectic to follow any real specifics. I exercise regularly and watch what I eat but I guess this question can serving as a forcing function for me to get back on the wagon with some actual fitness goals.
- Drop a dress size and/or lose 10lbs
- Climb Mount Whitney
- Take Ballet fitness classes, regularly
- Attend at least one of my 6am classes each week
Wow, I am exhausted just thinking about it. Probably not a good idea to write such a list while hungover - but that is for another day.
How do you cool off when you're upset?

What vacations would you most like to take in the next five years?
Presented by Intel, Sponsors of Tomorrow.
Ooh! This is a good one. Let's see.
- Tazania - To climb Mount Kilimanjaro
- Fiji or Tahiti - For an over the top beach vacation
- El Salvador - To visit my friend Tammy and her family
- Southern France - for obvious reasons and cuz I've never been there!
Um, I suppose that is enough for now :)
What challenges stand in the way of your ideal lifestyle? How are you working to overcome them?
Presented by Intel, Sponsors of Tomorrow.
Fear of failure and fear of change. I am actively working on overcoming both but I need to try harder. Someone push me off the ledge already!
What does your ideal lifestyle look like 10 years from now?
Presented by Intel, Sponsors of Tomorrow.
If I answer this, I need you all to promise that you won't hold it against me if it doesn't happen? Okay? Okay....
So 10 years from now I'd like to be healthy, happy and I want to look 10 years younger than I do now :) Beyond that, I think a family would be nice and a successful career and allows me to continue to challenge myself and grow. I'd also like to have enough money that I can travel a lot and take long vacations on the beach. Is that too much to ask??
What's your favorite Michael Jackson song? Bonus points if you share the video.
This is a tough one. There are so many good ones but these are my top three (not in order)
- I'll Be There
- Billie Jean
- P.Y.T. (Pretty Young Thing)
